Looma is an out of network provider with insurance. Looma will provide you with a Superbill. You can then request reimbursement from your insurance or use your Health Savings Account (HSA ) for payment. Please be aware that some insurance companies will not reimburse out of network expenses, so it is important to verify this status with your insurance company up front.
With a Superbill, the client pays for the services out-of-pocket at the therapists established rate. The therapist would then provide the client a Superbill to turn into their insurance company to be reimbursed. Out-of-pocket expense is paid up front by client.

A superbill is an itemized document that details the list of services you have you have received from your provider. A document like this allows clients to bill their insurance company directly which helps them get reimbursed for service when the provider is out of network. Superbills include information similar to an insurance claim form, such as the date of the service provided, procedure codes and a total balance due. Once you receive a superbill, you can submit it to your insurance company.
